1)
Take Rt. 285/84 north from Santa Fe (N. on St. Francis Drive) to
Pojoaque.
2)
Turn Left (i.e. west) on State Rt.. 502 to Las Alamos;
3)
Stay On Rt. 502
to Los Alamos; do NOT take
St. Rt. 4 to White Rock;
4)
After passing small Airport, bear gently right onto Central Avenue,
On N.
side of “Best Western” Hotel at top of hill;
5)
Follow Central Ave. through "downtown" until it ends at
Canyon
Road; you will see blue aquatic center across road;
6)
Turn left on Canyon Road; go about 2 blocks;
7)
Turn right onto Diamond Drive;
8)
Follow Diamond Drive for 2 or 3 miles. first past high school on right;
then
past "Pueblo Complex'' on right; then past Conoco Station on left;
Then
past golf course,
9)
Where Diamond Drive ends at a cliff (also end of golf course),
turn
left onto San Ildefonso Road (via “roundabout”);
10)
San Ildeforso Road climbs Barranca Mesa, bearing slightly right;
11)
At Chamisa Road (at top of hill), turn left (just after point where two
lanes
merge into one);
12)
Go one block to end of Chamisa, where you must turn right;
this is
the beginning of Barranca Road;
13)
Kannon Zendo
and Finney studio/home is the second house on right,
at corner of Barranca and Andanada Roads.
14)
Positive Identification: :welded can sculpture on front of house,
huge
blue spruce tree to right of doorway; "35" on house &
curb; the sound of
wind in the pines from Rendija Canyon across the street.
